Gold prices fell in Asia on Monday as investors eyed demand prospects in China as a tad weaker than expected after official manufacturing and services PMI estimates for July.

Gold for August delivery eased 0.06% to $1,267.69 a troy ounce on the Comex division of the New York Mercantile Exchange. For last week, the precious metal was up 1.08%, its third consecutive weekly gain.

Gold on MCX settled up 0.37% at 28580 after weaker than expected U.S. inflation dampened expectations that the U.S. Federal Reserve will aggressively raise interest rates and North Korea fired a ballistic missile, triggering safe-haven buying.

Technically market is under short covering as market has witnessed drop in open interest by -23.39% to settled at 3472 while prices up 104 rupees, now Gold is getting support at 28451 and below same could see a test of 28323 level, And resistance is now likely to be seen at 28651, a move above could see prices testing 28723.

सेंसेक्स और निफ्टी दोनों रिकार्ड ऊंचाइयों पर पहुंचे और निफ्टी 10,000 से ऊपर बंद हुआ। अमेरिका की फेडरल रिजर्व ने बुधवार को जारी मौद्रिक समीक्षा में ब्याज दरों में कोई परिवर्तन नहीं किया और इस साल आगे भी नहीं बढ़ाने का संकेत दिया। साप्ताहिक आधार पर सेंसेक्स 280.99 अंकों या 0.88 फीसदी की तेजी के साथ 32,309.88 पर बंद हुआ और निफ्टी 99.25 अंकों या 1 फीसदी की तेजी के साथ 10,014.50 पर बंद हुआ। मिडकैप सूचकांक में 0.95 फीसदी और स्मॉलकैप सूचकांक में 0.49 फीसदी की तेजी आई।

सोमवार को सेंसेक्स 216.98 अंकों या 0.68 फीसदी की तेजी के साथ 32,245.87 पर बंद हुआ। मंगलवार को कारोबार सपाट हुआ और सेंसेक्स 17.60 अंकों या 0.05 फीसदी की तेजी के साथ 32,228.27 पर बंद हुआ। बुधवार को सेंसेक्स में तेजी आई और यह 154.19 अंकों या 0.48 फीसदी की तेजी के साथ 32,382.46 पर बंद हुआ। गुरुवार को बाजार में उतार-चढ़ाव के बीच सेंसेक्स 0.84 अंकों की मामूली तेजी के साथ 32,383.30 पर बंद हुआ। शुक्रवार को सेंसेक्स 73.42 अंकों या 0.23 फीसदी की गिरावट के साथ 32,309.88 पर बंद हुआ।

वहीं, निफ्टी शुक्रवार को 6.05 अंकों या 0.06 फीसदी की गिरावट के साथ 10,014.50 पर बंद हुआ।

बीते सप्ताह सेंसेक्स के तेजी वाले शेयरों में प्रमुख रहे - एचडीएफसी (8.66 फीसदी), एचडीएफसी बैंक (4.26 फीसदी), भारतीय स्टेट बैंक (3.05 फीसदी), कोटक महिंद्रा बैंक (0.54 फीसदी), मारुति सुजुकी (1.36 फीसदी), रिलांयस इंडस्ट्रीज (0.51 फीसदी), सिप्ला (0.42 फीसदी), इंफोसिस (1.83 फीसदी), विप्रो (0.87 फीसदी) और भारती एयरटेल (0.30 फीसदी)।

बाजार में अच्छी रिकवरीः निफ्टी 10000 के ऊपर बंद, सेंसेक्स 73 अंक गिरा

अगस्त सीरीज की शुरुआत घरेलू बाजारों के लिए अच्छी नहीं रही थी, लेकिन कारोबारी सत्र के आखिरी घंटे में निचले स्तरों से अच्छी रिकवरी देखने को मिली है। दिन के निचले स्तरों से निफ्टी में 70 अंकों का सुधार दिखा है, जबकि सेंसेक्स में 200 अंकों से ज्यादा की रिकवरी देखने को मिली है। आज निफ्टी 9944.5 तक लुढ़क गया था, जबकि सेंसेक्स ने 32104.66 तक गोता लगाया था। हालांकि, अंत में निफ्टी 10015 के आसपास बंद हुआ है, जबकि सेंसेक्स 32300 के ऊपर बंद हुआ है।

मिडकैप और स्मॉलकैप शेयरों में अच्छी खरीदारी देखने को मिली है। बीएसई का मिडकैप इंडेक्स 0.5 फीसदी की मजबूती के साथ 15330 के स्तर पर बंद हुआ है। निफ्टी का मिडकैप 100 इंडेक्स भी 0.5 फीसदी मजबूत होकर बंद हुआ है। बीएसई का स्मॉलकैप इंडेक्स 0.4 फीसदी बढ़कर 16071 के स्तर पर बंद हुआ है।

Oil prices ease, but near 8-week highs on lower U.S stocks

July 27 (Reuters) - Oil prices dipped on Thursday after three days of gains, but were sitting just below 8-week highs on hopes that a steeper-than-expected decline in U.S. crude oil inventories will reduce a global oversupply.

Brent crude futures LCOc1 were down 15 cents or 0.3% at $50.82 a barrel at 0150 GMT, after rising about 1.5 % in the previous session.

U.S. West Texas Intermediate futures CLc1 were down 14 cents or 0.3 % to $48.61 a barrel.

U.S. crude stocks fell sharply last week as refineries increased output and imports declined, while gasoline stocks decreased and distillate inventories fell, the Energy Information Administration said on Wednesday. 7.2 million barrel decline in crude inventories in the week ending July 21 was well above the 2.6 million barrel forecast.

SEBI to introduce commodity position limits to curb price fluctuations

The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) is creating three categories for agricultural commodities and will introduce limits that investors can hold for each one to try to reduce price fluctuations.

Commodities  will be classed as sensitive, broad or narrow, based on the frequency of government interventions in their markets and overall availability, SEBI said on Tuesday.

The new position limit for sensitive commodities will be 0.25 % of deliverable supply, SEBI said in a circular.It will be 0.5 % for narrow commodities and 1 % for broad commodities, it added.

Jeera & Gold Market News Update

Jeera on NCDEX settled down by -1.74% at 19250 on profit booking from higher levels due to lower physical demand. However downside seen limited due to dwindling stocks and restricted arrivals in the major markets of Gujarat.

Jeera stocks in the producing and consuming markets are state to be lower due to fall in output during 2016-17. Jeera output in Gujarat during 2016-17 was estimated lower at 212,000 ton due to fall in acreage, Gujarat Agriculture ministry data showed.

* Jeera dropped on profit booking from higher levels due to lower physical demand.

Gold Trading range for the day is 28432-28652 Gold on MCX settled down -0.09% at 28516 remained roughly unchanged on Monday while sentiments still remain firm as dollar weakness continued to dominate trading on Monday and also provided further net support to gold as prices tested 4-week highs, but prices are liable to correct lower.

Technically market is getting support at 28474 and below same could see a test of 28432 level, And resistance is now likely to be seen at 28584, a move above could see prices testing 28652.

U.S. Gold futures for August delivery rose about 0.1 percent to $1,255.30 per ounce.

Spot Gold was nearly unchanged at $1,255.32 per ounce, as of 0403 GMT. In the previous session, it touched $1,258.79 an ounce, its highest since June 23.

White metal rises amid positive global cues

Silver futures were trading higher during the afternoon trade in the domestic market on Monday taking positive cues from the global market. Market analysts said a firm trend in precious metals in global market mainly attributed to the rise in silver prices at the futures trade.

At the MCX, silver futures for September 2017 contract were trading at Rs 38171 per kg, up by 0.06 per cent, after opening at Rs 38,150, against a previous close of Rs 38,150. It touched the intra-day high of Rs 38,217.

सेंसेक्स पूरे सप्ताह 32,000 अंकों के मनोवैज्ञानिक स्तर पर कारोबार करता रहा। प्रमुख सूचकांक सप्ताह के पांच कारोबारी दिनों में तीन दिन बढ़ोतरी के साथ कारोबार करते देखे गए। शुक्रवार को खत्म हुए कारोबारी सप्ताह में साप्ताहिक आधार पर सेंसेक्स 8.14 अंकों या 0.03 फीसदी की बढ़ोतरी के साथ 32,028.89 पर बंद हुआ और निफ्टी 28.90 अंकों या 0.29 फीसदी की तेजी के साथ 9,915.25 पर बंद हुआ। बीएसई का मिडकैप सूचकांक 1.88 अंकों या 0.01 फीसदी की तेजी के साथ 15,185.53 पर तथा स्मॉलकैप सूचकांक 84.62 अंकों या 0.53 फीसदी की बढ़ोतरी के साथ 15,992.63 पर बंद हुआ।

सप्ताह के पहले कारोबारी दिन सोमवार को सेंसेक्स में 54.03 अंकों या 0.17 फीसदी की तेजी दर्ज की गई और यह 32,074.78 पर बंद हुआ। वहीं, निफ्टी 29.60 अंकों या 0.30 फीसदी की तेजी के साथ 9,915.95 पर बंद हुआ। मंगलवार को शेयर बाजारों में तेज गिरावट आई और सेंसेक्स 363.79 अंकों या 1.13 फीसदी की गिरावट के साथ 31,710.99 पर तथा निफ्टी 88.80 अंकों या 0.90 फीसदी की गिरावट के साथ 9,827.15 पर बंद हुआ।

बुधवार को सेंसेक्स 244.36 अंकों या 0.77 फीसदी की तेजी के साथ 31,955.35 पर बंद हुआ। गुरुवार को सेंसक्स में गिरावट दर्ज की गई और यह 50.95 अंकों या 0.16 फीसदी की गिरावट के साथ 31,904.40 पर बंद हुआ। शुक्रवार को सेंसेक्स 124.49 अंकों या 0.39 फीसदी की तेजी के साथ 32,028.9 पर बंद हुआ।

बीते सप्ताह सेंसेक्स के तेजी वाले शेयरों में प्रमुख रहे - कोल इंडिया (4.67 फीसदी), टीसीएस (3.84 फीसदी), ओएनजीसी (3.78 फीसदी), आरआईएल (3.6 फीसदी), विप्रो (10.37 फीसदी), कोटक महिंद्रा बैंक (2.22 फीसदी), बजाज ऑटो (0.13 फीसदी), हिन्दुस्तान यूनीलीवर (1.65 फीसदी) और एक्सिस बैंक (5.28 फीसदी) वहीं, सेंसेक्स के गिरावट वाले शेयरों में प्रमुख रहे- हीरो मोटोकॉर्प (1.96 फीसदी), एनटीपीसी (1.62 फीसदी), टाटा स्टील (1.23 फीसदी), आईटीसी (14.44 फीसदी) और एसबीआई (0.43 फीसदी)।

Gold demand slumps as prices rise, seasonal consumption slows in India

Gold demand in Asia eroded this week due to higher prices with a seasonal slowdown denting the lure for the precious metal in second-biggest consumer India.Dealers in India offered discounts for gold, as the absence of key festivals kept demand subdued, especially as the wedding season has passed.

The international spot gold benchmark hit a three-week high of $1,248.35 an ounce on Friday, with prices set for an about 1.5 percent weekly gain, bolstered by weakness in the U.S. dollar, which was at multi-month lows.

In top consumer China, premiums were slightly below the $10 per ounce level reported last week, while in Hong Kong, the premiums were at 60 cents to $1 against 70 cents to $1 in the previous week.

सोने में गिरावट, क्रूड की चाल सुस्त

अमेरिकी डॉलर में बढ़त से सोने पर दबाव देखने को मिल रहा है। कॉमैक्स पर सोना 0.25 फीसदी की गिरावट के साथ 1238.8 डॉलर पर कारोबार कर रहा है। चांदी में भी कमजोरी नजर आ रही है। कॉमैक्स पर चांदी करीब 0.5 फीसदी टूटकर 16.25 डॉलर पर कारोबार कर रही है।

अमेरिका में भंडार घटने से कच्चे तेल में तेजी देखने को मिली थी और क्रूड 1.6 फीसदी चढ़कर 6 हफ्तों के रिकॉर्ड स्तर पर पहुंचने में कामयाब हुआ। हालांकि, अब ऊपरी स्तरों पर थोड़ा दबाव दिख रहा है। फिलहाल नायमैक्स पर डब्ल्यूटीआई क्रूड सपाट होकर 47.1 डॉलर पर कारोबार कर रहा है। वहीं, ब्रेंट क्रूड भी सुस्त होकर 49.7 डॉलर पर कारोबार कर रहा है।

Markets open on a positive note on Wednesday

The 30-scrip Sensitive Index (Sensex) on Wednesday opened on a positive note during the morning session of the trade. 

The Sensex of the BSE after opening at 31,882.80 points, touched a high of 31,885.17 points and a low of 31,796.73 points. 

On Tuesday, the Sensex closed at 31,710.99 points.The Sensex is trading at 31,852.54 points, up by 141.55 points or 0.45 per cent.On the other hand, the broader 51-scrip Nifty at National Stock Exchange (NSE) opened at 9.855.95 points after closing at 9,827.15 points.The Nifty is trading at 9,857.25 points in the morning.

SELL JEERA AUG BELOW 19800 TARGET 19750-19700-19600 WITH SL 19960

Jeera on NCDEX settled up 0.96% at 20025 on lower stocks position following tight supplies from the producing regions. Reports showed that the jeera arrival in June is lower this year compared to May as well as June last year. As per the data release by government, jeera exports in April 2017 was 14,599 tonnes, were down 9% from March. In 2016/17, country exports increase by 26% to 1.24 lt in as per the data release by Dept. of commerce, GOI.

The stock levels in the NCDEX warehouse increased to 1,313 tonnes as on July 10 from 1,187 tonnes on Jun 30. Last year, stocks were higher at 3,482 tonnes. Sources estimate India’s jeera crop output will be around 2.5 lakh tonnes, lower than the 3.75 to 5 lakh-tonne estimated.

GOLD

Gold trading range for the day is 27645-28249. Gold prices edged up on Monday as the U.S. dollar fell to multi-month lows after the prospect for further interest rate hikes in the United States this year dimmed following softer U.S. economic data last week.

Technically market is under short covering as market has witnessed drop in open interest by -3.97% to settled at 6465 while prices up 159 rupees, now Gold is getting support at 27821 and below same could see a test of 27645 level, And resistance is now likely to be seen at 28123, a move above could see prices testing 28249.

कमजोरी के माहौल में निफ्टी 9845.45 तक लुढ़क गया, जबकि सेंसेक्स ने 31897.87 तक गोता लगाया था। हालांकि आज निफ्टी पहली बार 9900 को पार करने में कामयाब रहा, जबकि सेंसेक्स 32100 के ऊपर तक पहुंचा था। निफ्टी ने आज 9913.3 का नया रिकॉर्ड उच्चतम स्तर बनाया और सेंसेक्स ने भी 32109.75 का नया रिकॉर्ड ऊपरी स्तर छूआ। अंत में निफ्टी 9900 के आसपासी बंद हुआ, तो सेंसेक्स 32000 के ऊपर ही बंद हुआ है।

बीएसई का मिडकैप इंडेक्स 0.25 फीसदी बढ़कर 15187 के स्तर पर बंद हुआ है। वहीं, बीएसई का स्मॉलकैप इंडेक्स 0.4 फीसदी गिरकर 15908 के स्तर पर बंद हुआ है।

आईटी, ऑटो, एफएमसीजी, मीडिया, मेटल, रियल्टी, कैपिटल गुड्स और कंज्यूमर ड्युरेबल्स शेयरों में बिकवाली देखने को मिली है। निफ्टी के आईटी इंडेक्स में 1 फीसदी, ऑटो इंडेक्स में 0.4 फीसदी, एफएमसीजी इंडेक्स में 0.2 फीसदी, मीडिया इंडेक्स में 0.5 फीसदी और मेटल इंडेक्स में 0.4 फीसदी की गिरावट दर्ज की गई है। बीएसई के रियल्टी इंडेक्स में 0.6 फीसदी, कैपिटल गुड्स इंडेक्स में 0.5 फीसदी और कंज्यूमर ड्युरेबल्स इंडेक्स में 0.5 फीसदी की कमजोरी आई है।

COPPER MARKET LATEST NEWS UPDATE

Copper on MCX settled down -0.88% at 382.35 on a surge in warehouse stocks but the threat of strike action at two Chilean mines curbed losses. Chilean mining company Antofagasta Minerals was facing potential strikes from workers at its Zaldivar mine and by supervisors at Centinela as contract talks continue. The supply side and disruptions are to some extent offsetting the more bearish news surrounding the stock increases. The combined annual production at both Chilean mines is 160,000 tonnes of copper.

At the MCX, copper futures for August 2017 contract is trading at Rs 383.25 per kg, up by 0.24 per cent, after opening at Rs 382.20, against a previous close of Rs 382.35. It touched the intra-day high of Rs 383.90.

Technically market is under long liquidation as market has witnessed drop in open interest by -4.41% to settled at 14166 while prices down -3.4 rupees, now Copper is getting support at 380.1 and below same could see a test of 377.9 level, And resistance is now likely to be seen at 385.4, a move above could see prices testing 388.5.

                       Trading Ideas:-

* Copper trading range for the day is 377.9-388.5.

* Copper dropped on a surge in warehouse stocks but the threat of strike action at two Chilean mines curbed losses.

* However, downside seen limited supported by strike threats at a South American copper producer.

The 30-scrip Sensitive Index (Sensex) on Wednesday opened on a higher note during the morning session of the trade. 

The Sensex of the BSE after opening at 31,272.72 points, touched a high of 31,284.64 points and a low of 31,193.08 points. 

On Tuesday the Sensex closed at 31,209.79 points. 

The Sensex is trading at 31,230.28 points up by 13.02 points or 0.04 %. 

On the other hand, the broader 51-scrip Nifty at the National Stock Exchange (NSE) opened at 9,619.75 points after closing at 9,613.30 points on Tuesday.The Nifty is trading at 9,623.15 points in the morning.

COMMODITY MARKET LIVE NEWS UPDATE Soyabean & Mentha Oil

Soyabean on NCDEX settled down by -0.77% at 2822 due to profit booking and lower demand for soymeal in the market. However, some losses were limited on lower sowing along with reports of poor monsoon progress sparked supply shortage.East Madhya Pradesh, which accounts for 60% of total soybean sowing area in the state, reported 9.1mm rainfall which is 39% above normal rainfall.

At the Indore spot market in top producer MP, soybean gained 2 Rupees to 2938 Rupees per 100 kgs. Technically market is under long liquidation as market has witnessed drop in open interest by -3.77% to settled at 73530 while prices down -22 rupees, now Soyabean is getting support at 2807 and below same could see a test of 2792 level, And resistance is now likely to be seen at 2846, a move above could see prices testing 2870.

Mentha Oil on MCX settled up by 0.21% at 893.1 due to short covering on rising demand in the domestic spot market. Further, tight stocks position on restricted supplies from producing regions, too supported mentha oil prices.

Technically Market is under fresh buying as market has witnessed gain in open interest by 6.19% to settled at 2970 while prices up 1.9 rupees, now Menthaoil is getting support at 885.8 and below same could see a test of 878.6 level, And resistance is now likely to be seen at 900, a move above could see prices testing 907.

Gold heads for first monthly loss in 2017 as rally stalls in second quarter

Gold eased on Friday to stay on track for its first monthly loss this year, as hints from leading central banks that the era of easy money may be coming to a close pushed bond yields higher, hurting the non-interest bearing metal.

While it is still up nearly 8 % in the first half, gold has stalled in the second quarter after a strong start to the year, and is little changed from where it ended in March.

Spot gold was down 0.3 % at $1,241.41 an ounce by 2:34 p.m. EDT (1834 GMT), while U.S. gold futures for August delivery settled down 0.3 percent at $1,242.30.The futures market will trade an abbreviated session on Tuesday for the U.S. Independence Day holiday.

Spot prices have fallen around 2 % so far in June, and are on track to fall 0.6 percent in the second quarter.

U.S. Treasury yields rose for a fourth straight day as inflation data was not seen as weak enough to delay the Federal Reserve's expected path on interest rate hikes.
