Silver futures were trading lower during the afternoon trade in the domestic market on Thursday as participants engaged in trimming their positions taking weak cues from global market.

Marketmen attributed the fall in silver prices at futures trade to a weak trend in the precious metals overseas and profit-booking by participants at existing levels.

At the MCX, silver futures for December 2017 contract was trading at Rs 39689 per kg, down by 0.11 per cent, after opening at Rs 39,734, against a previous close of Rs 39,732. It touched the intra-day low of Rs 39,607.

Gold futures were trading lower during the afternoon trade in the domestic market on Monday as participants cut down their bets amid a weak global trend. Analysts attributed the fall in prices to trimming of positions by participants, tracking a weak trend in the global market, as the US dollar firmed up and the euro edged lower on political developments in Germany.

At the MCX, gold futures for October 2017 contract is trading at Rs 29518 per 10 grams, down by 0.23 per cent, after opening at Rs 29510, against a previous close of Rs 29585. It touched the intra-day low of Rs 29510.

भारतीय बास्केट के कच्चे तेल की अंतर्राष्ट्रीय कीमत गुरुवार को 55.51 अमेरिकी डॉलर प्रति बैरल दर्ज की गई। यह बुधवार को दर्ज कीमत 54.93 अमेरिकी डॉलर प्रति बैरल से अधिक रही। पेट्रोलियम एवं प्राकृतिक गैस मंत्रालय के अधीन पेट्रोलियम नियोजन एवं विश्लेषण प्रकोष्ठ (पीपीएसी) ने यह जानकारी दी।

रुपये के संदर्भ में भारतीय बास्केट के कच्चे तेल की कीमत गुरुवार को बढ़कर 3581.88 रुपये प्रति बैरल हो गई, जबकि बुधवार को यह 3535.42 रुपये प्रति बैरल थी। रुपया गुरुवार को कमजोर होकर 64.53 रुपये प्रति अमेरिकी डॉलर के स्तर पर बंद हुआ, जबकि बुधवार को को यह 64.36 रुपये प्रति अमेरिकी डॉलर था।

Gold dropped to its lowest level in over three weeks on Thursday as a stronger dollar and increasing prospects of a December rate hike by the Federal Reserve curbed appetite for the metal.

Gold slipped heavily yesterday and extended the slide further today after the US Federal Reserve announced that, for the first time in nine years, it would start reducing the size of its $4.5 trillion asset portfolio starting in October. 

Spot gold was down 0.1 % at $1,299.31 an ounce at 0326 GMT, after earlier touching its lowest since late August at $1295.65.U.S. gold futures for December delivery fell 1 percent to $1,302.60 an ounce.Spot gold may break support at $1,299 per ounce and fall more towards the next support level at $1,281, said Reuters tech nicals analyst Wang Tao.

Jeera trading range for the day is 19235-20055. Jeera on NCDEX settled down by -0.53% at 19565 on profit booking after price seen supported last week as stocks in producing as well as in consumption centers are stated to be poor due to fall in output. Expectations of good monsoon withdrawal rainfall in growing states may boost soil moisture ahead of sowing activities. India's 2016-17 jeera output fell to 489,000 ton from 503,000 ton a year ago, agriculture ministry data showed.

Above normal rains in Gujarat and Rajasthan coupled with higher prevailing prices may help farmers to bring more area under jeera in the next season. The National Commodity & Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX) has issued a clarification saying 62 % of the total stock to the exchange-registered warehouses in Unjha, Gujarat, matched up to its quality standards after concerns were raised over the dispatch of sub-standard jeera by traders.

India's 2016-17 jeera output fell to 489,000 ton from 503,000 ton a year ago, Agriculture Ministry data showed. In Unjha, a key spot market in Gujarat, jeera edged down by -20 Rupees to end at 19231.65 Rupees per 100 kg.Technically market is under fresh selling as market has witnessed gain in open interest by 3.09% to settled at 10716 while prices down -105 rupees, now Jeera is getting support at 19400 and below same could see a test of 19235 level, And resistance is now likely to be seen at 19810, a move above could see prices testing 20055.

Gold slips to two-week low ahead of Fed meet

Gold slipped to its lowest level in over two weeks on Monday as equities rallied and the dollar firmed, while prospects of monetary policy tightening in the United States ahead of a Federal Reserve meeting also weighed on the metal.

Spot gold was down 0.2 % at $1,317.00 an ounce, as of 0423 GMT. Earlier in the session, it hit $1,315.10, its lowest since Aug 31.Spot gold may drop to $1,309 per ounce, as it has broken a support at $1,321, said Reuters technical analyst Wang Tao.

U.S. gold futures for December delivery fell 0.3 % to $1,321.10 an ounce.

The two-day Fed Open Market Committee meeting, which begins on Tuesday, will be closely watched by markets as the U.S. central bank is expected to announce balance sheet reduction in an effort to "normalise" monetary policy.

SHARE MARKET:- निफ्टी पहली बार 10150 के पार, सेंसेक्स 185 अंक मजबूत

हफ्ते के पहले कारोबारी दिन घरेलू बाजारों ने दमदार शुरुआत की है। निफ्टी पहली बार 10150 के पार जाने में कामयाब हुआ है। निफ्टी ने 10,154.35 का नया रिकॉर्ड उच्चतम स्तर बनाया है। सेंसेक्स भी 32,462.78 तक पहुंचने में कामयाब हुआ है। सेंसेक्स और निफ्टी में 0.5 फीसदी की मजबूती के साथ कारोबार देखने को मिल रहा है।

मिडकैप और स्मॉलकैप शेयरों में भी अच्छी खरीदारी दिख रही है। बीएसई का मिडकैप इंडेक्स 0.9 फीसदी तक उछला है, जबकि निफ्टी के मिडकैप 100 इंडेक्स में 0.9 फीसदी की बढ़त दर्ज की गई है। बीएसई का स्मॉलकैप इंडेक्स भी 0.9 फीसदी तक मजबूत हुआ है।

बैंकिंग, ऑटो, एफएमसीजी, मीडिया, मेटल, रियल्टी, कैपिटल गुड्स, कंज्यूमर ड्युरेबल्स, पावर और ऑयल एंड गैस शेयरों में अच्छी खरीदारी देखने को मिल रही है। बैंक निफ्टी 0.8 फीसदी तक उछलकर 25,035 के स्तर पर पहुंच गया है।

Nifty FMCG index falls as food inflation edges higher

Increased Consumer Food Price Index (CFPI) data for the month of August seems to have upset many FMCG stocks as the Nifty FMCG index broke three-session winning streak to slip into the negative zone in Wednesday's early trade. 

The Nifty FMCG index was trading at 25,737, down 0.68 % around 10.25 am (IST), with shares of FMCG majors ITC (down 1.60 %), Emami (down 1.55 %), Jubilant Foodworks (down 1.11 %), Tata Global Beverages (down 0.21 %) and Hindustan Unilever (down 0.06 %) as the laggards. 

However, some FMCG stocks such as Godrej Consumer Products(up 1.29 %), United Breweries (up 1.03 %) and United Spirits (up 0.80 %) registered good gains. 

The overall market appeared firm, with bank, auto and IT stocks as lead gainers. 

Benchmarks Nifty and Sensex were at 10,113 and 32,221, respectively, each up by 0.20 % around that time. 

In the Nifty pack, Tata Power, Reliance Industries, Bank of Baroda, Tech Mahindra and TCS were trading as the top gainers. 

ITC, Larsen & Toubro, Bharat Petroleum and Indiabulls Housing Finance were losing in trade. 

In the Nifty50 pack, 32 stocks were trading in the green, while 19 stocks were in red. 

On BSE, 1,243 stocks were advancing whereas 892 stocks were lagging.

Gold, silver down in morning trade

Gold prices were trading in red in morning trade on Tuesday on account of weak trend overseas and subdued demand from local jewellers. 

MCX Gold was down 0.31 %, or Rs 94, at Rs 29,839 per 10 gram around 10.35 am (IST), whereas MCX Silver was down 0.33 %, or Rs 134, at Rs 41,030 per 1 kg. 

Latest holdings of SPDR Gold Trust, the world’s largest gold-backed exchange-traded fund, fell 0.3 % to 834.50 tonnes till September 8. 

Holdings of the largest silver-backed exchange-traded-fund (ETF), New York's iShares Silver Trust SLV, stood at 10,173.58 tonnes, remain unchanged from previous business day. 

Benchmark equity indices were trading firm following global cues. The BSE Sensex was up 166 points, or 0.52 per cent, at 32,048 around 10.50 am (IST), while NSE Nifty index was up 45 points, or 0.45 per cent, at 10,050.

Mentha oil futures up on rising demand

Mentha oil futures were trading higher during the morning trade in the domestic market on Friday amid pick-up in demand at domestic spot market and restricted supplies from producing regions. Market analysts said fresh positions built up by traders following pick-up in demand from consuming industries in the spot market against restricted supplies from Chandausi, led to the rise in mentha oil prices in futures trade.

At the MCX, mentha oil futures for September 2017 contract was trading at Rs 1206.40 per kg, up by 0.07 per cent, after opening at Rs 1205.60, against the previous closing price of Rs 1205.50. It touched the intra-day high of Rs 1211.60.

1.  Menthaoil trading range for the day is 1165-1230.2.
2.  Mentha oil spot at Sambhal closed at 1351.20 per 1kg. Spot prices was up by Rs.10.00/-.

India's 2017/18 sugar output seen up 24.2 %

India's sugar output is expected at 25.1 million tonnes in the year beginning October, up 24.2 % from the 2016/17 season, an industry source said on Thursday.

Higher output will help India, the world's biggest consumer of the sweetener, obviate import needs in the next season.

कमोडिटीज की बात करें तो इस बीच चने में गिरावट बढ़ गई है। वायदा में इसका दाम 6 हजार रुपये के नीचे आ गया है। दरअसल मंडियों में नई मूंग की आवक शुरु हो गई है और अगले महीने से नई उड़द भी बाजार में होगी। ऐसे में सभी दाल की कीमतों पर दबाव बढ़ गया है। एनसीडीईएक्स पर चने का अक्टूबर वायदा 1.3 फीसदी टूट कर 5990 रुपये के नीचे आ गया है।

उधर सोने का भाव एक साल की ऊंचाई पर है। लेकिन गोल्डमैन सैक्स को इस तेजी पर भरोसा नहीं है। गोल्डमैन सैक्स ने कहा है कि ये तेजी सिर्फ अमेरिका और उत्तर कोरिया के बीच तनाव की वजह से आई है और इस साल के अंत में सोना 1250 डॉलर के आसपास ही रह सकता है। एमसीएक्स पर सोना 0.06 फीसदी की हल्की बढ़त के साथ 30240 रुपये के आसपास कारोबार कर रहा है। वहीं, चांदी 0.2 फीसदी की बढ़त के साथ 41515 रुपये के आसपास कारोबार कर रही है।

इस बीच कच्चे तेल में कल की तेजी पर आज ब्रेक लग गया है। अमेरिका में फिर से समूद्री तूफान की चेतावनी है। ऐसे में इलाके की ज्यादातर रिफाइनरी बंद हो गई हैं। इसकी क्षमता अमेरिका में कुल रिफाइनिंग का करीब 20 फीसदी है। वहीं बेस मेटल में रौनक बढ़ गई है। सभी मेटल बढ़त के साथ कारोबार कर रहे हैं। एमसीएक्स पर कच्चा तेल 0.2 फीसदी की बढ़त के साथ 3130 रुपये के आसपास नजर आ रहा है। वहीं कॉपर और जिंक दोनों 0.6 फीसदी की बढ़त के साथ कारोबार कर रहे हैं।

1. सोना एमसीएक्स (अक्टूबर वायदा): खरीदें - 30200, स्टॉपलॉस - 29950 और लक्ष्य - 30600.
2. चांदी एमसीएक्स (दिसंबर वायदा): खरीदें - 41500, स्टॉपलॉस - 41150 और लक्ष्य - 42000.
3. कच्चा तेल एमसीएक्स (सितंबर वायदा): खरीदें - 3100, स्टॉपलॉस - 3070 और लक्ष्य - 3150.
4. कॉपर एमसीएक्स (नवंबर वायदा): खरीदें - 447, स्टॉपलॉस - 444 और लक्ष्य - 451.

Rupee opens 6 paise lower at 64.10 against US dollar

The Indian rupee depreciated further in opening trade Tuesday on dollar demand. It started off trade at 64.10 a dollar, down 6 paise compared to previous day's closing of 64.02.

Bhaskar Panda of HDFC Bank said he expects the USD-INR pair to play to global tunes.

The expected range could be 63.95-64.20 per dollar.

News related to North Korea-US spooked Indian currency market in previous session.

Yesterday, the rupee closed 2 paise lower at 64.04 per dollar against Friday's close of 64.02.

सेंसेक्स 31700 के करीब बंद, निफ्टी 61 अंक लुढ़का

ग्लोबल मार्केट्स में बिकवाली से घरेलू बाजार में आज गिरावट हावी हुई। उत्तर कोरिया विवाद के चलते जापान, साउथ कोरिया सहित सभी एशियाई बाजार 1 फीसदी तक टूटे। सेंसेक्स और निफ्टी 0.5 फीसदी से ज्यादा लुढ़ककर बंद हुए हैं। आज के कारोबार में निफ्टी 9861 तक लुढ़का था, तो सेंसेक्स ने 31560.32 तक गोता लगाया था। अंत में निफ्टी 9900 के ऊपर बंद हुआ है, जबकि सेंसेक्स में करीब 200 अंकों की गिरावट दर्ज की गई है।

मिडकैप और स्मॉलकैप शेयरों में भी बिकवाली का दबाव नजर आया। बीएसई का मिडकैप इंडेक्स 0.7 फीसदी लुढ़ककर बंद हुआ है, जबकि निफ्टी का मिडकैप 100 इंडेक्स 0.75 फीसदी कमजोर हुआ है। बीएसई का स्मॉलकैप इंडेक्स 0.7 फीसदी तक टूटकर बंद हुआ है।

बैंकिंग, ऑटो, एफएमसीजी, आईटी, रियल्टी, कैपिटल गुड्स, ऑयल एंड गैस और पावर शेयरों ने बाजार पर दबाव बनाने का काम किया है। बैंक निफ्टी 0.8 फीसदी गिरकर 24,237 के स्तर पर बंद हुआ है। निफ्टी के ऑटो इंडेक्स में 0.8 फीसदी, एफएमसीजी इंडेक्स में 0.6 फीसदी और आईटी इंडेक्स में 0.7 फीसदी की गिरावट दर्ज की गई है। बीएसई के रियल्टी इंडेक्स में 1.4 फीसदी, कैपिटल गुड्स इंडेक्स में 0.75 फीसदी, ऑयल एंड गैस इंडेक्स में 0.8 फीसदी और पावर इंडेक्स में 0.7 फीसदी की कमजोरी आई है।

बीएसई का 30 शेयरों वाला प्रमुख इंडेक्स सेंसेक्स 190 अंक यानि 0.6 फीसदी की कमजोरी के साथ 31,702 के स्तर पर बंद हुआ है। वहीं, एनएसई का 50 शेयरों वाला प्रमुख इंडेक्स निफ्टी 61.5 अंक यानि 0.6 फीसदी गिरकर 9,913 के स्तर पर बंद हुआ है।

Gold hits 10-month high in wake

Gold prices hit their highest in nearly 10 months on Monday after North Korea's latest and most powerful nuclear test drove investors towards safe-haven assets.

Spot gold rose 0.7 % to $1,333.28 per ounce by 0329 GMT, earlier touching its best since Nov. 9 at $1,336.79.

Spot gold prices rose by 2.6 % last week to close at $1324.6 per ounce as the dollar retreated after data showed the pace of U.S. annual inflation slowed, while rising security concerns triggered by tensions on the Korean peninsula provided safe-haven support.

U.S. gold futures for December delivery were up 0.6% at $1,338.60.

Gold on 1st September 2017, Gold prices up by (78) pts closed at 29823 trading range between 29688-29880 and December Comex Gold futures settled at $1330.40 division of the New York Mercantile Exchange.

The U.S. economy created 156,000 jobs in August, missing out on the agreed estimates for the creation of 180,000 jobs.

SHARE MARKET:- मिडकैप स्मॉलकैप में आई तेजी

बीते सप्ताह सकारात्मक वैश्विक संकेतों के कारण सेंसेक्स और निफ्टी में प्रभावशाली बढ़ोतरी देखी गई। वहीं, मिडकैप और स्मॉलकैप सूचकांक में सबसे अधिक तेजी दर्ज की गई। बाजार पर भारत और चीन के बीच डोकलाम विवाद के समाधान का भी सकारात्मक असर पड़ा।

साप्ताहिक आधार पर सेंसेक्स 296.17 अंकों या 0.93 फीसदी की बढ़ोतरी के साथ 31,892.23 पर बंद हुआ, जबकि निफ्टी 117.35 अंकों या 1.19 फीसदी की वृद्धि के साथ 9,974.40 पर बंद हुआ। मिडकैप सूचकांक में 2.84 फीसदी और स्मॉलकैप में 3.09 फीसदी की बढ़ोतरी दर्ज की गई।

सोमवार को सेंसेक्स में 154.76 अंकों या 0.49 फीसदी की बढ़ोतरी दर्ज की गई और यह 31,750.82 पर बंद हुआ।

मंगलवार को सेंसेक्स 362.43 अंकों या 1.14 फीसदी की गिरावट के साथ 31,388.39 पर बंद हुआ।

बुधवार को सेंसेक्स में फिर तेजी लौटी और यह 258.07 अंकों या 0.82 फीसदी की तेजी के साथ 31.646.46 पर बंद हुआ।

सेसेक्स गुरुवार को 84.03 अंकों या 0.27 फीसदी की तेजी के साथ 31,730.49 पर बंद हुआ

शुक्रवार को यह 161.74 अंकों या 0.51 फीसदी की तेजी के साथ 31,892.23 पर बंद हुआ।

इस सप्ताह सेंसेक्स के तेजी वाले शेयरों में प्रमुख रहे- इंफोसिस (0.83 फीसदी), विप्रो (2.49 फीसदी), डॉ. रेड्डी (6.2 फीसदी), ल्यूपिन (0.18 फीसदी), मारुति सुजुकी इंडिया (2.77 फीसदी), टाटा मोटर्स (1.74 फीसदी), बजाज ऑटो (6.74 फीसदी), रिलायंस इंडस्ट्रीज (2.68 फीसदी) और एलएंडटी (0.74 फीसदी)।

अमेरिका में हार्वी तूफान की वजह से कच्चे तेल में तेजी देखने को मिली है। हार्वी की वजह से अमेरिका में कई रिफाइनरी ठप होने के चलते क्रूड के दाम में उछाल आया है। हालांकि, ऊपरी स्तरों पर कच्चे तेल में थोड़ी बिकवाली हावी हो गई है। फिलहाल नायमैक्स पर डब्ल्यूटीआई क्रूड 0.5 फीसदी फिसलकर 47 डॉलर पर कारोबार कर रहा है। वहीं, ब्रेंट क्रूड 0.15 फीसदी की मामूली कमजोरी के साथ 52.8 डॉलर पर कारोबार कर रहा है।

सोने की चमक और बढ़ गई है। कॉमैक्स पर सोना 0.25 फीसदी तक बढ़कर 1325 डॉलर पर कारोबार कर रहा है। कॉमैक्स पर चांदी भी 0.25 फीसदी की तेजी के साथ 17.6 डॉलर पर कारोबार कर रही है।
